FREE WNWC NOVICE XC RACE CLINICS

Woot! Woot! Due to popular demand, our race clinics are back! These clinics are for people new to racing mountain bikes or new to Weds Night Worlds. We will give you an introduction to the courses at Weds Night Worlds, explain how races work, share some racing tips, answer your questions, and make sure you are set up for our first race!

If you’ve never raced before, we’ll waive your registration for the race the day of the clinic. Yes, free racing your first night!

The clinics are designed to show anyone new to mountain bike racing how much fun we have at Wednesday Night Worlds and how everyone can participate. We look forward to introducing you to our inclusive Wednesday Night family.

Our Instructors

Julie Robertson Zivin

Julie has been bike racing since 2006 when she started road racing as a newly divorced 37 yo mom of two young boys.  She transitioned into cyclocross and mountain bike racing.  Her first mountain bike racing was at Wednesday Night Worlds.  She is the 2019 cyclocross masters champion and enjoys racing both locally and more recently nationally now that her boys are in college.   Racing and playing bikes and being part of our cycling community has been an integral part of her life and sanity.

Jodi Connolly
Jodi started mountain biking in 1998 and was hooked. After having two kids, in 2007, she started racing cyclocross and mountain bikes. Since then, the family has grown up in this community. Jodi goes as hard as her body and brain allow her to while still focusing on fun and skill and positivity. She is always excited to meet new racers and represent the community that has support her all these years.

Chris Rodde

Chris started racing mountain bikes in the 90s. He moved to Seattle in 2001 and with the arrival of his two kids, stopped racing for about 10 years. In 2013, he rediscovered the joy of bike racing and has been racing mountain bikes and cyclocross ever since. In 2022, Chris helped to form Off Camber Productions which now owns Weds Night Worlds and MFG Cyclocross. The primary goal of Off Camber Productions is to grow the bike racing community by welcoming all and helping them get started.
