Wednesday Night World Championships has been the local watering hole for Mountain Bike racers for over 40 years. It’s a place where people come to play, ride, sweat, laugh and enjoy each other’s company. The atmosphere is fun, the people are welcoming, the racing is exciting. It’s about community. However, as the years tick off, WNW’s has set out to leave an even greater legacy than simply bike racing.

As a nonprofit entity, Wednesday Night World’s mission is to empower more humans to find a sense of place and purpose through mountain bike riding and racing. Our focus: To grow the mountain bike community though interscholastic outreach and opportunity.
To accomplish our goals, we will be working with area city’s and organizations such at the City of SeaTac, City of Des Moines, City of Renton, SeaTac BMX, Bike Works, the Washington Student Cycling League and others to establish pathways for youngsters to enjoy the sport of mountain biking.

We see a continual need to bridge the gap to those children and families who may otherwise never throw a leg over a mountain bike. By working with area organizations and schools, WNW’s seeks to provide continued opportunities for elementary, middle and high school students and their families to be part of the Wednesday night race scene. We want to build community from the ground up. Partner with us as we step outside of racing and expand our programing and community influence.
