Were hosting a 5pm Beginners Skills Clinic tomorrow. No fee, no pre-reg. Just show up ready to learn from coach Reeve. Remember, in our “TT” format, you can still race as a Beginner at 6pm. 👍

Last Sunday
Vince and Mark, two of our wonderful park stewards and WNWC volunteers, attended a community gathering at the park. SeaTac City officials and Port of Seattle Commissioners were there surveying the land we use and ride on. It’s been an ongoing topic but the time may actually come where the City outright owns the park. Since the dawn of man, the City has leased this land from the Port. This lease and lack of outright ownership of the property has stunted any recreational development of the trail system. If the purchase of the land happens, we could see complete shift in how the park is used and cared for. We could potentially have another designated Bike Park!

Ok then, lets get into some features. We’ve all had a chance to loosen up, stretch the legs. This one will have an equal amount of tech and jumps mixed with some more punchy climbs. Nothing too nasty but a stinger here and there to keep you honest. Enjoy.

It’s been well, a dry kinda not so good winter, which helps us get a jump on 2026 plans for you 🫵. As we tip-toe into February, we already have some updates and news for the coming spring and summer at the park. Ready?

• All JUNIORS UNDER 17 RACE FREE. This is a community space. We want to see more kids, more families, more stoke. We value growth and opportunity for everyone.
• U16-17 Junior categories return. No High Schooler left behind.
• 12 Races ending in July. See our Schedule. Reg is OPEN.
• 3 Free Skills Clinics. Details TBD.

Wed Night Worlds will be hosting 3 Pre-Season Cross Nights starting next week, Aug 20, in partnership with our friends MFG and Cross Revolution. Come sharpen your sward, blow off the cobwebs AND register for MFG/CXR series. Both series will be in attendance to help get you onboarded for the season. Bring your timing Tube or Chip from any previous local race (Wed Nights, CXR, MFG).

Ready to get back on the Horse? Two MTB Relay Races and Three Cross nights coming at you…

Team Relay – 2 Hours of Power @ SeaTac is next week

Have you got your team together? Are you racing with Mom, Dad or Nana?
These two Relay Races are a new twist to the Wed Night vibe. Race alone, with a friend or teammates. There are options. We can guaranty plenty of fun.

Need to know:

• KIDS Race at 5:15, regular start and format.
• Relay Racing begins at 6pm.
• LeMans Mass Start on the Rugby Field.
• Last riders out at 8pm.
• The most laps within 2 hours wins their category.
• Riders will register as usual, as individuals, with their usual log in, chip and bib number.
• Teams will be categorized and scored by their Team Name.
• ALL TEAMS MUST USE THE SAME NAME AND SPELLING OF TEAM NAME.

We’ll be using a shorter course, approx 2mls (estimated 8 -12min laps for adults). Once a teammate finishes, the next team member will begin after the finish line. No hand-off, just go. All riders use their existing Wed Night Timing Chips and Bibs. Nothing too complicated.

Seltzers, Sodas, NA and Real A coolers will be on hand in the rider corral. “Chug-A-Can” will be greatly encouraged and maybe enforced for each rider heading out for their lap. There will probably be water, loud music, maybe a wading pool and could even be Super Soakers keeping riders chilled before their starts. Heckling is encouraged. UCI High-five rules apply.

Men, Women, NB, Mixed, Junior U12, Junior 13+, KIDS U9
